Coach Hatton enters her first season at the helm of the Yarmouth Nordic team. Hatton comes to Maine public high school skiing as one of the most well rounded coaches. Having skied since she was young and all four years at St. Lawrence University, she is passionate about the sport. Coaching at her Alma Mater for two years as an Assistant Coach, she helped lead several athletes to NCAA's. Upon completing her Masters in Leadership at St. Lawrence in 2021, she became the U.S. Biathlon Assistant National Team Coach, based out of Lake Placid, NY. She then went on to be the Dartmouth Men's and Women's Nordic Assistant Coach. She has coached high school running and skiing in the summers, and is currently Yarmouth's Assistant Cross Country running Coach. Hatton is USSA L100 certified, and excited to be back in her home state. She has recently been named as Team Maine's 2023 U16's Trip Leader for the next two years, and was selected for the Women Ski Coaches Association GearUp Program. Dana grew up in Cape Elizabeth and continues to live there with her puppy, Rossi, appropriately named.

Ellie Teare is in her second year as an assistant coach for the skiing clippers. Originally from Yarmouth and having skied for the team in high school, Teare brings a wealth of background knowledge. Coincidentally, Coach Hatton and Coach Teare, overlapping in high school, were teammates on the Maine Team at Eastern High School Championships! Teare then decided to pursue ski racing at a more competitive level her junior year of high school at the Holderness School in NH. She went on to Whitman college, choosing not to ski race, but to play Lacrosse, before moving back to Maine. Last season, she assisted the boys team to a State Championships and can't wait to do it again!

Coach Bob Morse is the former Head Coach of the Yarmouth Ski Team, a position he held for 38 years. Coach Morse retired from Yarmouth’s Frank Harrison Middle School in 2017 after 50 years of teaching. In 2018, he also retired from coaching, departing as one of the most highly decorated high school ski coaches in the history of Maine. Coach Morse’s ski teams earned over 100 team state championships, and his former athletes had success at the collegiate, professional, and Olympic levels. Coach Morse is a certified Professional Ski Instructor (PSIA -E) and an avid skier and runner. Coach Morse is also member of the Maine Ski Hall of Fame, class of 2005. This season will mark his 50th year as a coach in Maine!
