Sean Lynch – Head High School Coach

Sean has 2 children in the Yarmouth school system, a 10th grader and an 12th grader both have enjoyed competitive skiing and ski coaching at Sugarloaf. Sean spent several years coaching the Middle School Alpine Team in Yarmouth and was most recently an Assistant High School Alpine coach before taking the helm as the Head Coach in 2023. Sean is a USSA Level 100 Certified Alpine Coach.  He has been skiing for 40+ years and has deep skiing expertise through winter mountain warfare training and winter alpine deployments in the United States Marine Corps as well as teaching skiing in the military.  

Monica Moore – Assistant  High School Coach

Monica has 1 child in the Yarmouth school system and one graduate of the high school, both are ski racers.  She has been skiing for 30 years. She taught both her kids to ski and most importantly,  she fostered a love of the outdoors and spirit of adventure in them. She continues to ski with her family at Sunday River and Sugarloaf. She is currently a 5th grade teacher at Greely.  

Sophie Coleman - Assistant High School Coach

Sophie has two little girls 1 and 3 years old, and is working to instill a love of skiing in them through sunny days on the slopes and hot cocoa after. Sophie went to CVA for high school where she raced FIS. She went to Clarkson University and raced USCSA all 4 years and was All-American in GS and Combined. Sophie has always had a passion for the outdoors, and living a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Some of her favorite hobbies include spinning, gardening, reading, baking, and spending time with friends and family. Sophie is a USSA Level 100 Certified Alpine Coach. 

Ben Corriveau – Assistant Middle School Coach

Ben has a daughter in the Yarmouth school system (a 7th grader who is a ski racer). Ben has been skiing for 40+ years and has been coaching ski racing for 8 years. He is a level 100 USSA coach and coaches U16 ski racing at Carrabassett Valley Academy at Sugarloaf. He and his family continue to ski throughout Maine. He also coaches youth girls lacrosse in Yarmouth, ME.
